The original notification listed 268 vacancies. Subsequently, NALCO revised and expanded the recruitment to 518 total vacancies across the M&R Complex, Damanjodi.

5. Login using your Registration Number / Enrollment Number and Password / Date of Birth
6. Your admit card will be displayed on the screen — verify all details carefully
7. Download the admit card PDF and take a clear printout — carry at least 2 copies to the exam centre

Candidates are advised to download and print their admit card well in advance. The admit card link will remain active until the exam date (27 July 2026). If you face login issues, try different browsers or contact NALCO HR helpline.

• Printed NALCO Non Executive Admit Card 2026 — mandatory for entry; no candidate will be permitted inside without it
• Valid Original Photo ID Proof (ONE of the following): Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence, or Bank Passbook with photograph
• Passport-size photographs — as specified on the admit card instructions
• Any other document specifically mentioned on the admit card

🚫 Prohibited Items at Exam Centre: Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, electronic gadgets, calculators, stationery items, books or notes, wallets with metallic parts, and jewelry. All such items must be left outside — no safe-keeping facility may be available at exam centres. Violation may lead to disqualification.

All qualifications must be full-time and from recognized institutions. Part-time or correspondence qualifications are NOT acceptable. Candidates must also have completed the specified apprenticeship certificate (where applicable) by the application closing date.

Important: The maximum upper age limit including ALL relaxations shall NOT exceed 56 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC(NCL) is subject to availability of vacancies in that category. Internal NALCO candidates may also get company-specific age relaxation as per NALCO rules.

Fee was paid online at the time of application via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / IMPS / Cash Card / Mobile Wallet / UPI. The fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. The application window is now closed (last date: 17 June 2026).

No Negative Marking is a significant advantage — candidates should attempt all questions. Unanswered questions carry 0 marks. The CBT tests both technical knowledge specific to the applied post and general aptitude.

1. Stage 1 — Computer-Based Test (CBT): Online objective test of 100 MCQs, 100 marks, 120 minutes. No negative marking. For posts at Sl. No. 5, 7, 9, 11, and 12 of the vacancy table, selection is based on CBT ONLY. Final merit for these posts = CBT score.
2. Stage 2 — Trade Test (for select posts only — Qualifying): For posts at Sl. No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 13 (Operator HEMM, Mining Mate, Jr. Foreman, certain Technician posts), a Trade Test is also conducted. Weightage: CBT 60% + Trade Test 40%. Trade Test is practical/skill-based. Candidates must qualify the Trade Test — it is NOT just qualifying; it carries 40% weightage in final merit for applicable posts.
3. Stage 3 — Document Verification (DV): Candidates shortlisted based on CBT/Trade Test merit are called for verification of original documents at NALCO's M&R Complex, Damanjodi. Candidates found ineligible at DV are disqualified.
4. Stage 4 — Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME): Candidates who clear DV undergo medical fitness examination as per NALCO medical standards at NALCO Hospital, Damanjodi or designated hospitals. Final appointment is subject to medical fitness.

In addition to basic pay, regular employees receive Dearness Allowance (DA) — IDA pattern, HRA or company township accommodation (Damanjodi is a NALCO Township), Medical Facilities at NALCO Hospital, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Group Insurance, Leave Encashment, Performance-Related Pay (PRP), Canteen facilities, and other welfare benefits as per NALCO rules.

• Complex Type: Integrated Mines (Panchpatmali Bauxite Mines) and Alumina Refinery — one of India's largest bauxite-to-alumina operations

• Posting Flexibility: Employees selected for M&R Complex, Damanjodi can be transferred to other NALCO establishments within Odisha based on operational requirements — NALCO reserves the right to transfer
