RRB Group D Application Status 2026 (CEN 09/2025)

Candidates whose applications are accepted will be eligible to receive the City Intimation Slip, Admit Card, and appear for the CBT examination scheduled from 03 August to 21 August 2026.

1. Visit the official RRB application portal: www.rrbapply.gov.in
2. Click on the "Candidate Login" button on the homepage
3. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth / Password
4. Fill in the Captcha Code and click "Login"
5. Your RRB Group D 2026 Application Status will appear on the screen
6. Download or take a screenshot of your status for future reference

SMS and email alerts will also be sent to the mobile number and email ID mentioned in the application form. Check your SMS inbox, email inbox, and spam folder.

⚠️ Candidates should check their RRB Group D Application Status only on rrbapply.gov.in or official RRB websites. They must avoid unofficial websites, fake links, and misleading social media updates.

• Age Not Meeting Eligibility: Candidate's date of birth falls outside the prescribed age limit of 18–33 years (as on 01 January 2026 for UR) or relaxed age limit for reserved categories
• Educational Qualification Mismatch: Not possessing Class 10th pass certificate OR ITI/NAC — or submitting incorrect qualification details
• Incomplete Application: Missing mandatory fields, incomplete information, or blank sections in the form
• Photo / Signature Issues: Blurry, incorrect format, oversized, or wrong photograph/signature uploaded
• Fee Payment Not Confirmed: Transaction failed or fee not credited to RRB account within the deadline
• Multiple Applications: Submitting more than one application for the same RRB region
• Invalid Category Certificate: OBC-NCL / EWS certificate not in the correct format, issued before the prescribed period, or from a non-competent authority
• Aadhaar Mismatch: Name, Date of Birth, or other details not matching with Aadhaar records
• Document Forgery / Misrepresentation: Providing false information in the application form

⚠️ Candidates are advised to review the reason mentioned on their status page. The specific rejection reason is displayed in your candidate login dashboard at rrbapply.gov.in.

1. Login to rrbapply.gov.in with your Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth
2. Read the specific condition(s) mentioned on your status page very carefully
3. The condition may relate to: incomplete documents, pending verification, category certificate issues, or qualification proof required
4. Take the necessary corrective action as mentioned — this may include uploading a missing document or providing clarification
5. The condition must be resolved within the timeline specified by RRB — failing to do so may lead to final rejection
6. Keep checking your registered email and SMS for any further communication from RRB regarding the condition

Conditionally Accepted candidates CAN appear in the CBT exam unless specifically told otherwise. However, their final selection remains subject to the conditions being satisfactorily resolved by Document Verification stage.

⚠️ Do not ignore a Conditionally Accepted status. Read the conditions immediately and act before the deadline — unresolved conditions lead to disqualification.

Candidates whose applications are accepted should continue their preparation for the computer-based examination. The City Slip includes information such as exam city name, shift timings, exam date and more.

⚠️ City Intimation Slip and Admit Card are available ONLY through candidate login at rrbapply.gov.in — they are NOT sent by post or email.

Posts include: Track Maintainer Grade IV, Helper/Assistant in various departments (Electrical, Engineering, Signal & Telecommunication, Mechanical), Pointsman, Porter, and other Level-1 posts. • Refund Condition: Fee is refunded ONLY if you appear in the CBT exam. Non-appearance = no refund.
• Refund Account: Credited only to the Aadhaar-seeded bank account of the candidate
• Rejected Applications: Fee is NOT refunded for rejected applications
• Payment Mode: Online only — Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI

1. Stage 1 — Computer-Based Test (CBT): 100 questions, 100 marks, 90 minutes. Subjects: Mathematics (25Q), General Intelligence & Reasoning (30Q), General Science (25Q), General Awareness & Current Affairs (20Q). Negative marking: −1/3 per wrong answer. Marks normalized across shifts.
2. Stage 2 — Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying in nature (pass/fail). Male: Run 1000m in 4 min 15 sec + Lift and carry 35 kg of weight for 100m in 2 min. Female: Run 1000m in 5 min 40 sec + Lift and carry 20 kg for 100m in 2 min. Ex-Railway Apprentices are EXEMPTED from PET.
3. Stage 3 — Document Verification (DV): Original documents verified for eligibility, category, qualification, and age.
4. Stage 4 — Medical Examination: Medical fitness test as per post-specific Railway medical standards. Vision and physical fitness verified.

Final merit is based entirely on CBT scores (normalized). PET, DV, and Medical are qualifying stages only — they carry no marks.

• Login to rrbapply.gov.in and read the specific rejection reason carefully — it is clearly mentioned in your candidate dashboard
• At present, there is no official objection/appeal window announced for rejected applications under CEN 09/2025 — check the official RRB website for any updates
• Re-application: The application window for CEN 09/2025 has closed (closed 09 March 2026) — you CANNOT re-apply for this recruitment cycle
• If the rejection was due to a technical error on RRB's part, you may write to the concerned RRB regional office (where you applied) with documentary proof
• Future opportunity: Watch for the next Railway Group D or Level-1 recruitment notification

⚠️ Do NOT pay any unofficial agent or website claiming to "reverse" or "correct" a rejected application. There is no such mechanism. Only the official RRB process matters.

In addition to basic pay, selected candidates receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA based on city), Transport Allowance (TA), Railway Travel Pass (self & family), Medical Benefits, Pension (OPS/NPS as applicable), Group Insurance, Leave Encashment, and other Railway service perks. The gross pay increases with DA revisions and annual increments.

• Important: City Intimation Slip is NOT the Admit Card — it only indicates the exam city for travel planning. You must download the official Admit Card separately for hall entry.

⚠️ Only candidates with Provisionally Accepted or Conditionally Accepted (with conditions met) application status will receive City Intimation and Admit Card. Rejected candidates will NOT receive these.

• PwBD Certificate: From competent authority (if applicable)
• Ex-Servicemen Discharge Book (if applicable)
• NOC from employer (if working in Central/State Govt. or PSU)
• Passport-size photographs as specified in the DV call letter

Always carry both originals AND self-attested photocopies. The complete document list will be mentioned in the official DV call letter issued by the concerned RRB.
